    Coffee Husk Paper

    Coffee husk paper is made from the dry outer skin of coffee beans — known as the husk or parchment. This is a byproduct of coffee processing. Instead of discarding it, we turn it into paper.

    At Bluecat Paper LLP, we collect coffee husk from coffee estates in Coorg, a region known for its high-quality coffee. The husk is cleaned, pulped, and blended with other natural fibers to make strong, tree-free paper. The paper has a warm tone and a natural texture, with visible flecks from the husk.

    What Is Coffee Husk Paper Used For?

    Coffee husk paper works well for:

    Its natural texture and color add depth to printed materials. It can be used plain or with minimal printing.

    How We Make Coffee Husk Paper

    1. We collect husk waste from Coorg coffee estates.

    2. We clean and pulp the husk.

    3. We mix it with fibers like cotton or banana for strength.

    4. We form and dry sheets using a chemical-free process.

    This method uses less water and energy than traditional papermaking. No bleach. No coatings. No tree pulp.
